Resources: What to do when resources run out Clarification
If you are unable to collect certain types of resources at the beginning of your turn because the stockpile is empty, you may collect the same number of resources of another type, not including Craftpoints.
Don't forget, you can always trade for other resources at a 2:1 ratio during crafting, even if there are no more in the stockpile.
Example: A player wants to recruit an archer, but there are no more wood resources available. That player trades in 4 iron for 2 wood. They continued to purchase the soldier as normal with the rest of the resources and coins they have on hand. The above example works even without wood resources in the stockpile. It is a direct trade-for-purchase scenario.

Settlements: Forests, mountains and water placement Required — Page 15, Placing Settlements
Settlements can be placed on grassland, and forest spaces. Settlements can NOT be placed on mountain, river or lake spaces.
Additionally, settlements can be place anywhere on forest spaces, whether in part or completely in the forest.
Note: Placing a settlement on a forest space will negate the forest effects, essentially allowing line of site for ranged soldiers. However, enemies are still unable to pass through a settlement without first stopping on it for a full turn. -
4.
Objective Cards: When can you claim them? Required — Page 10, Step 4d
Objectives can only be claimed during your turn. You may NOT claim any objectives on another player's turn.

5.
Soldiers: What to do when there are no more soldiers Clarification — Page 18, Crafting
If there are no more soldiers of a certain type in the stockpile, you can not craft/recruit any more of that soldier.
Note: Having multiple copies of the base game can add more to your recruiting pool. -
6.
Combat: Can Counter-Attacks Continue Forever? Clarification
Yes. If a player successfully defended with at least one Counter-Attack dice, he can chose to initiate another counter-attack. The attacking player becomes the defender and the players continue to roll until one of the following occurs:
- The attacker wins.
- The defender wins without a counter-attack rolled.
- The defender choses not to Counter-Attack, even though he successfully defended and had at least one Counter-Attack dice.

7.
Movement: Can you move through other soldiers? Clarification
Friendly Soldiers - You are allowed to move your soldiers through other friendly soldiers as long as they do not occupy the same space.
Enemy Soldiers - You can not jump over enemy soldiers. You are allowed to move around them, but not over them.

If two players are engaged in combat and both play the same action card "Weak Fight" and there is a tie, the base rule applies and the defender wins.
"All ties are won by the Defender..." - Combat, p. 22 of the rulebook.

Crafting: Archer cost 4 or 5 coins? Required — Page 19, Archer
In the rulebook archers cost 4 coins in addition to the other resources. However, archers cost 5 coins on the Cheat Sheets.
The Cheat Sheets are correct. Archers cost 5 coins in addition to the rest of the resources.

1.
Setup: How to set up the board for 5 or 6 players Optional — Page 8, Player Setup
Due to the large space required for a 5 or 6 player games, the following rules can apply as an alternative setup:
Step 5: Place Settlements. Each player may choose to use only one Game Tile as part of their kingdom, to allow more space for players.
Recommendation: Do to limited space with only two Game Tiles in a Kingdom, a player's Settlements can be place closer than 2 space from each other, but no less than 1 space. When applying this rule during a game, because a single soldier could can guard two settlements at the same time, this can lead to a very over-powered situation.

2.
Combat: Demoted Instead of Defeat Optional — Page 22, Winning as the Attacker
As an alternative rule when winning a battle, the players may agree to allow higher-tiered soldiers to be demoted after a lost combat engagement, instead of removing the soldier from the board.
Note: A tier 2 or higher soldier would be allowed to demote to single lower tier. However, tier 1 soldiers would still be removed from the board, if defeated.Contributed by Steve K.
